OUR MISSION
KCMT’S mission is to provide youth a creative outlet in a positive learning environment through professional, Broadway-type, theatrical experience.
With every production KCMT sets aside one performance as a benefit for Royal Family Kids’ Camp. All money money collected at this benefit performance goes to help support an annual Summer Camp held at Camp Indianola for Foster Kids hosted by Christ Memorial Church in Poulsbo in cooperation with State Foster Children Agencies. Bye Bye Birdie will be our fifth benefit performance for RFKC and we are honored to continue this tradition.
OUR VISION
Our vision is that KCMT be available to all youth who wish to participate, regardless of background, or finance.
To be constantly growing towards professionalism as we train youth in the art of musical theatre production.
To produce the best show in the best facility with the best scripts, costumes, sets, lights and sound that our growing budget will allow.
To be known throughout the community as an awe-inspiring theatrical production company where participants and audience members alike are fulfilled and entertained.
To continue to grow as we venture to meet the community’s need for a successful, children’s musical theatre company.
To train our KCMT youth today to become our community theatre leaders of tomorrow.
OUR VALUES
Our values include upholding wholesome qualities, family oriented customs and high moral standards.
OUR GOALS
Our immediate goal is to procure a state-of-the-art performance facility that will be a permanent home for KCMT. This facility needs to be a place where we are free to come and go as we please for rehearsals and performances without scheduling conflicts.
OUR STRATEGY
To build a well-functioning Board of Directors who will see to it by means of strong administration, proper planning, diligent fundraising and stable money management that our immediate goal is reached.
