KCMT POLICIES ATTENDANCE Check the rehearsal schedule. Make sure you can commit to attend all of your scheduled rehearsals and performances. The first thing we look at is schedule conflicts. You will be cut from any scene that is blocked the day you miss rehearsal. You cannot be considered for a lead if you plan on missing rehearsal during a scene for that lead. You cannot be considered for The Chorus if you will be missing any Saturday rehearsals. Missing more than three rehearsals is cause for dismissal.ATTITUDE Our motto at KCMT is, "Always be kind and gentle to everyone!" Our staff really notices kids who treat others with respect! If we have had trouble with - your attitude, attendance, line memorization or blocking in the past, even if your acting and singing are better than most - you probably will not receive a bigger part in this production. Your smaller part is your chance to prove you are responsible enough to play the major role your abilities deserve in the future.SIBLINGS For your convenience we try to make sure siblings are leads in the same cast.
