KCMT Alumni Presents “Into the Woods” July 7-16, 2023
Make plans now to join us as these 16 KCMT Alumni present an outstanding production of this enchanting, Tony Award-winning musical at our Outdoor Summer Stage.
James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone’s favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless yet relevant, piece… and a rare modern classic. The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn they cannot have a child because of a Witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

Accessibility — FREE parking is available. It is very close to the performance site; however, the ground is a bit uneven. Sani-Can restrooms are available, offering top-notch hygiene and comfort.
Picnic-Style Seating — Bring a blanket and sit on the lawn in our general admission “on the ground” seating section. Cushions or stadium-style/ground seats are also allowed. Seating is first-come, first-served.
Event-Chair Seating — Bring your favorite camp chair and enjoy the show in our general admission lawn chair section. Seating is first-come, first-served.
WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY
Vouchers (no cash refunds) for tickets purchased will be issued to patrons who are onsite and in attendance at a show that KCMT cancels due to weather.
