Periodically throughout the year, KCMT will hold workshops, usually designed to prepare a student for upcoming auditions. These inexpensive, one-day intensives are set up primarily by age and skill levels.

Teachers: KCMT Alumni, Cassidy and Carly Cloward

Cassidy Cloward was a choreographer at KCMT for 5 years, danced at InMotion, and is a senior national level gymnast. Cassidy is currently attending Western Washington University where she is studying dance. In her freshman year of college,
she performed in the department’s Dance in Concert where
Cassidy was able to collaborate with professional choreographers and find a deeper understanding of dance. Cassidy plans to choreograph at Western this upcoming year for STP’s “New Music, New Dance.”

Carly Cloward, a KCMT alum, is currently studying theatre at Western Washington University. She has participated in a variety of choirs and productions in Kitsap and Whatcom county. Carly was the only freshman cast in her school’s annual musical theatre miscast and she was able to direct several student theatre productions this past year. Carly will also be joining her school’s Advanced Treble Choir in the fall.

We will be reviewing an actor’s purpose, finding motivation, and living truthfully in an imaginary circumstance.
